Worker screening
People delivering Support Coordination and Connection Services for Felix SCC must be suitable and screened for work in the NDIS.
Our statement
Felix SCC requires workers and relevant contractors engaged in risk-assessed NDIS roles to hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or equivalent clearance accepted under NDIS rules) before unsupervised participant-facing work, and to maintain that clearance while engaged with us.
We also expect identity verification, reference and qualification checks appropriate to the role, and ongoing suitability expectations aligned with the NDIS Code of Conduct.
What this means for participants
- your coordinator should be cleared for NDIS work
- you can ask us to confirm that screening requirements are met for the people working with you
- concerns about conduct can be raised via complaints or safeguarding
Scope note
Felix SCC provides Support Coordination and Connection Services. We do not employ support workers for personal care or community shifts. Providers you choose for those supports have their own screening obligations; we can help you ask the right questions when connecting to them.
